On 10 September 2026, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vratsa organised the fourth SymbioTech stakeholder engagement meeting in Bulgaria, bringing together representatives of higher education, public administration, business and regional development.
As SymbioTech moves closer to piloting its results, the meeting shifted the stakeholder dialogue from exploring needs and concepts towards the concrete solutions developed by the project. Participants were introduced to the SymbioTech Manager professional profile and competence framework, as well as the two training pathways for higher education (HEI) and vocational education and training (VET).
The meeting also presented the forthcoming SymbioTech AI-Assisted Collaborative Platform, designed to support cooperation and identify industrial symbiosis opportunities, and the SymbioEnergy Tool, which will support energy-flow analysis and energy-efficiency decisions.
Stakeholder feedback was strongly positive, with respondents giving maximum scores for overall satisfaction, clarity of content, quality of materials, event structure and interaction. Feedback also highlighted the value of including even more practical and application-oriented elements as the project enters its piloting phase.
Stakeholder involvement will continue throughout the next stages of SymbioTech, including the finalisation of the digital tools, training of trainers and preparation for piloting.
