SymbioTech AI Collaboration Platform

The SymbioTech AI-Assisted Collaborative Platform is a digital environment for collaboration, learning and data-supported decision-making in the field of Digital Industrial Symbiosis.

The platform will bring together SymbioTech Managers, small and medium-sized enterprises, circular economy professionals, higher education institutions and vocational education and training providers. Users will be able to access SymbioTech learning resources, exchange knowledge and explore opportunities for cooperation between companies and sectors.

The platform is designed to support the collection and analysis of information related to materials, by-products, waste streams, energy and water use, industrial processes, transport, logistics and environmental performance. Its AI-assisted functionalities will help users interpret industrial data, identify potential synergies between companies and support the development of more efficient circular business models.

The platform is currently under development and internal testing. Further information about its functionalities, availability and access will be published here as the development progresses.

SymbioEnergy Tool

The SymbioEnergy Tool will support the energy-related aspects of Industrial Symbiosis. It will provide SymbioTech Managers, SMEs and other professionals with a practical digital instrument for exploring how energy can be produced, exchanged, managed and stored within networks of cooperating companies.

The tool will allow users to analyse energy consumption and production, simulate different energy-symbiosis scenarios and identify potential surpluses, deficits and opportunities for optimisation. It is also expected to support cost-benefit analysis by examining investment requirements, potential savings and estimated payback periods.

The SymbioEnergy Tool will also help users explore energy-storage options and assess potential investments in renewable energy solutions, including photovoltaic systems, wind energy and heat pumps. By combining energy and economic information, the tool will support more informed planning and decision-making before and during the implementation of energy-related investments.

The tool is currently being developed and tested. Additional information, guidance and access details will be provided on this page once the relevant development stages have been completed.
