The Slovak Energy Agency organized an online workshop titled “SymbioTech: Industrial Symbiosis in Practice,” where participants learned about the SymbioTech project and its latest developments.
The session presented key project components, including the training programme for SymbioTech managers, the SymbioEnergy tool, and the SymbioTech digital platform supporting industrial symbiosis cooperation. Representatives from Danucem, a major producer of cement and construction materials, and Corplex, a manufacturer of sustainable plastic packaging and reusable logistics solutions, also took part in the workshop. They shared practical examples of how circular economy principles and resource-efficient practices are implemented in their operations, providing valuable real-world insights for the workshop participants.
