University of Patras has organised a structured sequence of stakeholder engagement workshops in Greece, combining academic expertise with practical sectoral insights, particularly in the agri-food sector.
An initial online workshop introduced the SymbioTech project and Digital Industrial Symbiosis concepts to a broad audience, including academics, students, SMEs, and regional stakeholders. This was followed by an in-person workshop featuring a scenario-based group exercise that encouraged participants to apply symbiosis principles to real business situations.
Stakeholder contributions helped refine the project’s understanding of sector-specific needs and confirmed the relevance of SymbioTech outputs for applied contexts.
