IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences has organised national stakeholder workshops in Austria to introduce and discuss Digital Industrial Symbiosis with innovation-oriented audiences.
The workshops brought together higher education staff, researchers, students, and innovation stakeholders to explore the project’s objectives, early research findings, and the role of digital tools in enabling industrial symbiosis. Discussions also addressed cross-cutting topics such as organisational readiness and gender aspects in innovation.
Interactive exchanges provided valuable feedback on how SymbioTech tools and training programmes can best support innovation ecosystems. The engagement process strengthened national alignment and positioned the project within Austria’s applied research and innovation landscape.
